GLP-1 tracker apps compared

Shotsy, MeAgain, Glapp and Prova side by side, feature by feature, from their App Store descriptions read on October 30, 2026. What each does, and doesn't.

Facts on this page come from FDA labels and official sources, listed at the end. It's general information, not medical advice: your prescriber comes first.

Shotsy, MeAgain, Glapp and Prova all log your shots, your side effects and your weight, and all four are free to download. Past that, MeAgain has a full food log, Shotsy tracks several medications at once, Glapp counts your supply and answers questions from clinical research, and Prova turns what you log into advice for your week and counts your 5% for coverage.

✗ means the feature is not in the app's App Store description on October 30, 2026. It may exist. The Prova column also counts two things that are in the app but not yet in its description: the injection site of each shot, and weight read from Apple Health. Subscription prices change often, so check them on each app's App Store page.

What each app is built around

Shotsy is a dose tracker first. It covers shots and daily pills for a long list of GLP-1s, and it's the only one of the four whose description supports "multiple simultaneous medications with separate schedules for each." It logs calories and protein, water too, and can import all of it from Apple Health. Your data stays on your device and syncs through iCloud.

MeAgain is the one built for logging food: you can add a meal by photo, by barcode or by search. It also tracks fiber and has progress photos. A daily timeline puts meals next to symptoms and dose days. It says "Some features require a subscription."

Glapp leans on research. Its Wisdom feature "searches clinical trials and peer-reviewed research to answer your GLP-1 questions," it compares your progress with trial data, and it keeps a full inventory of vials and pens with BUD dates. It also announces tips and "shot phases" that predict hunger and energy shifts. Its description doesn't mention reminders or a food log.

Prova is our app, a coach built from your own notes.

Is there a free GLP-1 tracker app?

All four download for free. MeAgain says some features need a subscription. Shotsy's and Glapp's descriptions don't mention one either way. Prova says it's "free to track," with an optional Prova+ subscription for the coach plan, recipes, the heads-up before rough days and the PDF.

If you'd rather not use an app at all, the printable shot log gives each shot a line on paper, site included, and the medication level calculator draws the estimated curve in your browser.

What Prova's coach does differently

Glapp also offers tips and predictions tied to the shot cycle, so Prova isn't the only app with advice. Prova's coach reads what you log: your shots and 9 feelings, from nausea and constipation to food noise. After 3 shots, Prova learns how your shots hit you and gives you a heads-up the day before a rough one (Prova+).

Then it points to something you can do, like what to eat when you're not hungry or protein-first recipes for small appetites. For eating out, 12 restaurant chains are listed with protein and calories item by item. That list is free; Prova's picks at each chain are Prova+.

Your 5% for coverage renewal is counted from your weight before your first shot. Many US plans ask for it, and you can't go back and collect that starting weight later. Prova+ adds one page with doses, weight and side effects, as a PDF for your doctor. More on that rule in the 5% rule for GLP-1 coverage.

You don't need an account, and your health data stays on your iPhone.

What Prova doesn't do

Prova has no full food log: no calorie counting, no barcode scanner. If logging every meal matters to you, MeAgain does that, and Shotsy logs calories. Two medications at the same time is a Shotsy feature Prova doesn't have. And Prova doesn't search clinical research to answer questions the way Glapp's Wisdom does.

Prova is also new. On October 30, 2026, it had 3 ratings on the US App Store, averaging 3.7. Shotsy had 34,210 ratings, MeAgain 39,446 and Glapp 1,041, all three at 4.8.

Which one fits you

It depends on what you'll open the app for. For food, MeAgain. For more than one medication, Shotsy. For a supply count and research answers, Glapp. For a coach that reads your shots and feelings and helps you plan the week, with your 5% counted, Prova.

None of the four gives medical advice, and all four say so in their descriptions. Dose questions still go to your prescriber.
